The renowned film score composer, singer, and musician in the Malayalam film industry, M. Jayachandran, talks with Sanitha Manohar. M Jayachandran has won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Music Director in 2003, 2004, 2007, 2008, 2010, and 2013. Additionally, he received the state award for Best Male Singer in 2005. He made his debut in the Malayalam film industry as a singer in the 1992 movie Vasudha, directed by V.V. Babu. He continued to serve the industry as Devarajan master's assistant, excelling under his guidance. A major milestone in M. Jayachandran's career was his debut as an independent music director in the 1995 movie Chantha, directed by Sunil.
