Reaction continues after ‘crossbow killer’ Kyle Clifford refused to attend his sentencing yesterday where impact statements were heard at Cambridge Crown Court.
Matt says the “creature should have been marched into the courtroom.”
The pair also speak about softer sentences for serious offenders, with Matt saying people need to be ‘locked up for longer.’ Julia challenges Matt on this saying the Tories were in power for 14 years and did not ‘solve’ the issue.
As well as this, Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch pledged to deport foreign national criminals - Matt adds if you offend on UK “turf” you should be sent back.
