Not many people collect mushrooms in winter, but all I can say is, you're missing out! Late December still offers a wide variety of mushroom species, even after Christmas! In addition to the three classic winter mushrooms, oyster mushroom, velvet foot mushroom and Judas ear, you can collect other edible mushrooms in winter! Forests with a lot of dead wood are particularly important. I'll show you how to find this and the mushrooms. But be careful! There are also dangerous and deadly poisonous mushrooms hiding in the cold winter forest, right among the edible mushrooms. To avoid confusion between lookalikes, pay close attention to this video.

▬▬ Important information ▬▬
I do not give any food approval with my videos, everyone is responsible for their own collection and actions. If in doubt, it is better to leave a mushroom alone. Mushroom experts from the German Society for Mycology e.V. are highly recommended. These experts can check your mushroom basket on site and give you the best advice!
