Quantum Mechanics is a weird Subject. Wave Function Collapse, Quantum Superposition, Quantum Entanglement e.t.c are some of the weirdest concepts in Quantum Theory. Quantum Superposition implies that a quantum object can be in two different states at the same time. Schrodinger's cat Is a thought experiment enhancing Superposition's weird effects. As per this, Schrodinger's cat can be dead and alive at the same time It became one of the most important legacies of Quantum Physics.
Quantum Mechanics is a branch of science purely built upon mathematics. There are different physical interpretations of the underlying mathematics. Among these interpretations, Copenhagen Interpretation is the most widely accepted one. Superposition is the central concept of this interpretation. However, Erwin Schrodinger and Albert Einstein were not supportive of this interpretation of quantum mechanics.
