A mysterious illness breaks out infecting all types of robots around the world. This specific outbreak causes them to malfunction or literally go maverick in the process being referred to as “Roboenza”. Over a month passes and the infected robots begin going berserk and attacking mankind. Wily confronts MegaMan and the gang and informs them he developed a machine capable of a cure but it was stolen by one of the infected. MegaMan goes to work along side Protoman and Bass to quickly fight off the herds of infected only to become contacted with the virus themselves. Wily now publicly comes out with a statement that he created the virus as a form of bribery over robots to obey only him due to his cure. Roll earlier begins having signs of Roboenza and saves her one sample of the cure obtained by Wily and gives it to MegaMan and ProtoMan. Bass and treble attain a cure from Wily’s fortress and all three work together to bring down the Doctor. Ironically Wily himself becomes severely sick and rushed to the Doctor. As a thank you for saving his life Wily leaves behind enough of the cure for all the infected.
The biggest draw in MegaMan 10 is having the option to play as Bass and Protoman. But it comes at a price! ProtoMan can slide, charge his shot, and block attacks. (everything MegaMan could do in MegaMan 7) but if ProtoMan gets hit he’s taking double damage. Bass utilizes his multi direction rapid fire, dash, and his treble assist which grants you flight. (So pretty much MegaMan rush adapter from 7 do u see where I’m going here?)My biggest concern is in the gameplay... Breaking apart Megaman’s arsenal and dividing it between three different character options just doesn’t give me that same experience ! Still a great game but give me a fully powered up MegaMan with various stage hazards that utilize all of these mechanics he’s acquired through the series
