What a perfect day for the 2nd annual vintage snowmobile show and ride held at the Old Hasting Sown Riders club house in Bancroft Ontario. With the snow falling and the smell of the BBQ going it made for the perfect day. We rode to the show on our sleds from Gilmore Ontario, just south of Bancroft. The 40k trail ride was on some incredible trails managed by the OFSC.
There was close to 50 vintage snowmobiles at the show. Unfortunately, we were unable to stay for the vintage ride but heard about 40 sleds made it out there. We saw some nice survivor snowmobiles and some very well restored sleds that a lot of time and attention to detail went into. It's always great talking to people and hearing the stories of how they acquired the sled or the family history revolving around the sport of snowmobiling. There are a few sleds that stood out to me at the show that I have always admired. All Round it made for a very special day.
