Although the importance of natural habitats, like meadows and open areas with flowering plants, to pollinators is often discussed, the importance of forests to these animals is less well known. We will explore the important elements that forests provide for pollinators and discuss 10 practical steps landowners, land managers, land trusts, and others can take to support these important organisms and the ecosystem services they provide.
