The 45th Setagaya Plum Festival is being held this year at Hanegi Park, a 5-minute walk from Umegaoka Station on the Odakyu Line.
It is known as a famous plum grove with approximately 650 plum trees of 60 varieties, 270 red plums and 380 white plums, and is crowded with locals and visitors.
Hanegi Park is a vast site with an area of approximately 8 hectares, and has various facilities such as a play park for children, a baseball field, tennis courts, and a tea room, and you can also enjoy cherry blossom trees in the spring.
It's a great time to enjoy the arrival of spring while looking at the cute plum blossoms against the blue sky.
