VHOPE : Hobi Makes Taehyung Cry With Heartfelt Message | BTS V 뷔 & j-hope
It is no secret how much Hobi loves BTS. He even spent two days making bracelets for them.
2020 was huge for BTS as they accomplished a major achievement that year. “Dynamite” was their first song to debut at number one on Billboard’s “Hot 100” chart.
BTS held a media conference to discuss their Billboard win, future plans, and more. One of the questions was what they would like to say to themselves seven years ago. Hobi had a simple yet powerful message for 19-year-old j-hope. If that line seems familiar to you, that's because Hobi repeatedly talked about it throughout his career.
But Hobi didn’t end his message there, he also made one for his members. If that seems familiar as well, that's because Hobi had a message during his livestream. As if that wasn't sweet enough, Hobi thanked his members and proposed for them to be part of his life forever. And this led the boys to say that they loved him.
That heartfelt message from Hobi struck a chord with Taehyung. He later admitted to crying and that he was caught off-guard. We could clearly see how Taehyung was struggling to hold back his tears.
This wasn't the first time Hobi made Taehyung emotional right in front of everyone. A similar thing happened during the last VHOPEKOOK livestream before Hobi's enlistment. It was all cute and fun until Hobi mentioned his new haircut. Hobi's short hair was a harsh reminder for Taehyung that Hobi was leaving soon. Taehyung's mood clearly changed, and the realization of Hobi's enlistment pushed him to make a sudden announcement.
We all know how much Taehyung appreciates his Hobi hyung, so knowing that he only had a few days left with him at the time was understandably painful.
We are so used to seeing Taehyung being vocal right in front of everyone, So when Hobi was the one opening up about his feelings, Taehyung couldn't help but be emotional.
