On October 1st of 2023, I set out on my annual autumn through-hike of the Enchantments with my Year 5 crew to bask in the glory of Washington's preeminent wilderness hike. It's hard to think of a more beautiful places on the planet than the Enchantments Core basin during golden larch season. This year, larches were near peak and a dusting of snow presented a climbing challenge as I tried to bag my last Enchantments Bulger peak, McClellan. Enjoy.
