The Call of Juarez series is criminally underrated when it comes to the Western genre, which is a shame, as I believe that these games are charming in their fast and responsive gunplay, gorgeous visual style, and authentic storytelling. It has had a lot of ups and downs across its four games: Call of Juarez, Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, Call of Juarez: The Cartel, and, of course, Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, which is the main subject of this video.
Today, my goal was to shine a light on this series and its history, which lead to the creation of its final entry. I also wanted to show what Gunslinger had to offer compared to its predecessors, and how it holds up just past its 10-year anniversary.
