Kazoku de Ski” New Year's Eve ski show for the 2025 season will be presented in three episodes from Shiga Kogen, one of the best ski resorts in Japan.
New Year's Eve and New Year's Day 2024-2025. We enjoyed skiing with our family for 4 days and 3 nights at Shiga Kogen.
This season is a season of heavy snowfall, as if to make up for last year's record warm winter! As usual at the end of the year, there was a plentiful supply of snow at Shiga Kogen, and almost all the courses were open.
There was no exposed earth anywhere, it was as if we were skiing on a carpet everywhere ^^.
The first day was the best weather I've ever experienced, and I was hit by Okushiga blue and Okushiga magic all day.
On the second day, the big day of the year, light snow continued to fall from the morning to supply powder to the slopes, but the snowstorm was moderate, and we were able to enjoy skiing all day long while feeling the snow!
The third day, New Year's Day 2025, was cloudy in the morning, but from around 11:00, the conditions were so great that I have never tasted such powder.
This year's Shiga Kogen had the best snowfall in several years!
We had a great time skiing with our family, with no injuries.
