Who doesn't love a good chewy brownie with the perfect edge? Even better if you can make it ahead of time in a shelf stable version to be easily made when you need it. Bonus if your kids are old enough to make it for you!
Brownie mix
2c. sugar
2/3c. cocoa powder
1c. flour
1/2t. salt
1/4t. baking powder
This makes one batch. We 4x this to store for easy making.
4x recipe
8c. sugar
3c. cocoa powder
4c. flour
2t. salt
1t. baking powder
Store in an airtight container
To make
Mix 3c. of the mix with
1 stick melted butter
2 eggs
1t. vanilla
2-6T. water until it is the right consistency.
Bake in a greased 8x8 pan for 30 minutes.
If you want to do a double back bake for 35-45 minutes in a 9x13
Optional add ins
chocolate chips
cream cheese
nuts
toffee bits
