Serves: 2
Ingredients:
- ¼ cabbage
- a pinch of salt
- 1 chopped onion
- 4 dried chili (according to your preference)
- ¼ teaspoon mustard seeds.
- Oil
Preparation:
1) Cut the cabbage into thin strips and wash it thereafter.
Cooking:
1) Heat the oil and add the chopped onion, chili, and mustard seeds. Allow it to braise on medium heat.
2) When the onions become translucent, add the cabbage and salt. Close the lid and allow the cabbage to cook.
3) After 5 minutes, check the cabbage and give it a mix.
4) Cover it, lower the heat, and allow it to cook for another 5 minutes.
5) The cabbage will start to look translucent, give it a mix, and allow it to cook uncovered for another 7 minutes so that the excess water evaporates.
6) Check that the water has evaporated. Once the cabbage feels like it's almost sticking to the pot, it is ready.
