Palak Paneer is a popular North Indian dish made with spinach (palak) and paneer (Indian cottage cheese) in a flavorful, spiced gravy.
Ingredients:
For the Spinach Puree:
2 (300g) spinach (palak)
2 cups water
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ghee
3 green chilli
For the Gravy:
200g paneer, cubed
1 tablespoons ghee
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 bayleaf
1 inch dalchini
2 clove
1 medium onion, finely chopped
8 - 10 clove garlic
1 inch ginger
2 medium tomato
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon coriander
½ teaspoon garam masala
½ teaspoon kashmiri red chili powder
1 tablespoons fresh yogurt (optional)
Salt to taste
