Abstract:
As quantum computing continues to evolve, it presents both opportunities for enterprises at large as well as threats for the field of cybersecurity. Quantum computers can break many of the cryptographic algorithms used to secure our digital communications and transactions, making our sensitive data vulnerable. As quantum computing progresses, organisations need to prepare for this new era of computing and ensure their cybersecurity measures are quantum-resistant.
In this talk, we will explore a pragmatic approach to quantum readiness in the context of cybersecurity. We will examine the ways that quantum is already impacting organisations, from standards and architecture options to vendor decisions and compliance demands.
