As in the first video, our bike tour continues on the left side of the Moselle through the small wine producer Pommern and Klotten to Cochem. The district town of Cochem with the district Cond on the other side of the Moselle is located at the mouth of Endertbach. A visit to the old town with the many historic buildings is recommended. The landmark of the city is Reichsburg.
In Cochem we change to the right side of the Moselle and drive from Cond, past Valwig, Bruttig-Fankel and come to the Sleeping Beauty of the Moselle, the small "film location" Beilstein. Beilstein stands as a complete ensemble under monument protection. The picturesque, beautiful Mosel village has served as a movie backdrop since the thirties. Mrs. Ostermann knows a lot about that.
The Cafe Klapperburg is a secret and should definitely be visited. Lovingly decorated waiting for a treasure from times gone by. http://klapperburg.de/
High above the village you can see the Carmelite monastery and the monastery church of St. Joseph, as well as the castle ruin Metternich.
Our path continues on the right side of the Moselle through Briedern to Senheim. Here we change over the Moselle Bridge on the left side of the Moselle and continue to Ediger-Eller and Bremm. But more about that in the next video.
