The other day, the number of channel subscribers exceeded 10,000. Thank you very much, everyone.
Once a week, I come to my parents' house, which becomes empty for one night and two days. Today, I did something I've been wanting to try before the summer ends.
I recalled my childhood memories and hung a mosquito net to sleep. I wonder how many decades it's been!
The old mosquito nets were made of green hemp and were very heavy, but the new one I purchased is made of white cotton. It's lighter and easier to handle.
I was able to set it up easily by myself and fold it neatly.
As I was reading a nostalgic book inside the mosquito net, I remembered being told to "go to bed early" when I used to stay up reading until late at night.
I tried saying, "Okay, I'll sleep now." But the story was so interesting that I couldn't stop reading easily.
Inside my futon, I experienced suspense, excitement, sadness, and laughter. I was completely immersed in the protagonist's world.
"The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" was also one of my favorite stories.
I was influenced by Tom and started using boyish expressions. I fantasized about Huck Finn coming to call me in the middle of the night by imitating the hooting of an owl.
And like Tom, I would sneak out quietly from the second-floor window.
However, this house doesn't have any windows, let alone a second floor.
I can't sneak out by opening a loud sliding door or front door.
I wish I could live in a house with a second floor and windows!
That was my dream back then.
