Hello everyone!
When you have a blank month and you try to spend as little money as possible on groceries, there are little recipes that are good to have up your sleeve, to do with what you have in your cupboards.
Today I'm showing you 3 recipes that I've been making over and over again over the last few weeks, which I've obviously adapted according to my stocks and which you can adapt too :)
Grilled soy fried rice (4 servings):
- 300g white rice
- 1 onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 small broccoli
- 3 carrots
- 150g frozen peas
- 120g textured soy protein (https://www.koro.fr/eminces-de-soja-bio-800-g)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Curry, paprika
- Condiments of your choice, here: "no fish" sauce, bouillon powder, soy sauce, dark soy sauce and sweet and sour sauce
Plain vegan waffles:
- 180g flour
- 25g plain vegetable protein (optional, replace with more flour if you don't have any)
- 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 1/2 sachet of yeast
- 20g of cornstarch
- 300g of soy milk
Seitan bourguignon revisited (you can substitute with vegetable strips, vegetable bacon, soy or textured peas, simply mushrooms ...)
- 250g of seitan
- 1 onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- 4 carrots
- 1 large glass of wine
- 1 tablespoon of flour
- Vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable stock powder
- 1/2 glass of water to thin the sauce
Serve with pasta, polenta or potatoes ideally.
