Cabbage Roll Soup
1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion chopped
1 red pepper diced
2 large cloves garlic chopped fine
2 tsps tomato paste
1 14 oz can diced tomatoes
1 14 oz can tomato sauce
5 cups of beef broth
½ cup rice
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp thyme leaves
1 tsp rosemary
2 tsps parsley
Brown the ground beef and onions in a large pot breaking up the bits of beef and allowing them to brown. Add all the rest of the ingredients to the pan except the rice and allow to boil for 15 minutes. Add the rice and cook an additional 15 minutes.
