You can taste them next to your favorite tea or a glass of milk in the morning, but it is also a perfect afternoon treat!

milk (warm) 200ml
sugar 75g
2 eggs
a pinch of salt
Matcha cream:
butter (softened) 100g
sugar 200g
matcha powder 2 tsp.
Instructions:
1. Combine yeast, sugar, and warm milk.
2. Melt the butter and let it cool down.
3. Mix the flour with a pinch of salt. Then add the milk mix, butter, and two beaten eggs and mix using your hands until you get a soft and nonsticky dough.
4. Let the dough rest for 1 hour in a warm place.
5. Meanwhile, prepare the cream adding the softened butter, sugar, and matcha powder, and mix well.
6. When the dough doubled its size, Turn out the dough onto the pastry mat and sprinkle the top of the dough with additional flour.
7. Cut the dough into 4 equal pieces or even more (it depends on how big you want your buns) and roll the dough to a long rectangle (see video).
8. Use a rubber spatula to smooth the matcha filling over the whole dough rectangle. Roll it and cut it into half, then braid the 2 long pieces (see video). Form a round bun.
9. Once the buns are ready, let them rise for the other 30 minutes in a warm place.
